BC Conservatory of Music: Adjudicator Assistants wanted for the May 1 - 31, 2019 music festival. Your job is to greet the musicians, bring them to the examination rooms, ensure they have their music, and collect the results from the adjudicators. This counts as work experience and the shifts are flexible. Approximate Work Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm

burnaby village museum at spring break

I am planning for our spring break and was wondering if you would like to offer 4 students an opportunity to do their work experience. I am looking for the following:
 
  • 2 students from Monday, March 18 to Friday, March 22 from 1030am – 430pm (6 hours)
  • 2 students from Monday, March 25 to Friday, March 29 from 1030am – 430pm (6 hours)
 
On both Mondays the students would need to arrive by 10am for paperwork and intake.

BCIT Career Awareness Workshop

It is that time of year again – the BCIT Career Awareness Workshop date has been set! Workshop B: SPRING TERM – APRIL 29 – MAY 3, 2019
A BCIT student number will be required on the application form and will not be processed without one. A link to student number set up process is included on form. Cost for the program and all the lab fees is $212.
The application is simple but you need to use the fillable PDF and bring or email it to me in Career Programs.

Earn $218 for one day of work.....How? Work as a Poll Worker during the October 2019 Federal Elections. To apply return to Career Programs the attached one-page application form. Complete it neatly in pen.
Bonus Day! Feb 25th By-Election:
Students who wish to work on Feb. 25th can go on line to apply: http://www.elections.ca and select the Employment Tab and then the Poll Workers section. Students need to indicate in the comments section the secondary school they attend, as we have a mandate to hire students. For a by-election, students do not have to live in the riding.
