If you do any independently-arranged work experience over Christmas holidays, make sure you bring evidence of this to Career Programs in January to earn the credit. You will need to go back and get employer signatures and an evaluation. If the experience was less than 14 hours, a thank you certificate/letter will be sufficient.
Youth Transforming Society is recruiting Volunteers for a Leadership Role to support our growing team. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, work with a diverse team, fill a leadership role, and give back to the community. Read the attached file for more info and application link. ![]()
If you're Grade 10 or 11 and interested in an Industry Training program (better known as ACE-IT/Train in Trades) for next year, check out the attached poster. It advertises an information session on January 23rd at Burnaby Central. ![]()
If you plan on doing work experience over the Christmas holidays NOW is the time to make the arrangements with Career Programs, NOT the Friday we finish :)
