SFU SUmmer camps

SFU Summer Camps - Are you interested in working in a positive environment with children. Do you have a great attitude, strong work ethic, flexibility, and willingness to try new activities. Camps include: Aquatics, recreation, sports, education, outdoor, pre- and post-care. SFU is now accepting volunteer applications for this summer. Students must commit to a minimum of 2 weeks. NO COVER LETTER NEEDED - JUST THE APPLICATION AND RESUME

to help out recording scores and results at the Spring Blast hockey tournament at Bill Copeland, Kensington, and Burnaby Lake arenas March 12-15. They will explain how to do the job.

BCIT Biotech Program - 6 more places!

The BCIT Health Sciences department offers a great one-week lab program April 25-29. You use state-of-the art lab facilities and get a great work experience / resume booster.

Read the attached PDF and complete the fillable sheet on the final page. It costs $203 but you cannot get this experience anywhere else.

Duke of edinburgh award

The Duke of Edinburgh Challenge is a year-long program of team building and leadership skills. It's a great personal development experience and looks very good on your resume and university personal statements.

CCM Burnaby is a local organization that runs DOE programs and they are looking for new recruits. Look at the attached poster for further information and details on how to apply.

Saturday, May 28, 10:30-5:00, Food Prep

Sunday, May 29th, 7:45am - 2:30pm, set up tents and tables, put up signs along the roadways, food serving, chef assistants, recycling, clean-up (no dish washing), take down and  load trucks.
