High school students have the opportunity to become volunteers or paid junior instructors at our summer camp for younger students, where they will gain valuable teaching skills and also be exposed to a university setting.

This is what Ms Martin does and you can help out in whatever area you have skills: "design and create posters in InDesign, write grants, financial budgeting and reconciliation, program 2 galleries, organize artists, send out press releases, website administration/planning, facebook and all social media"

International Student Summer Program: Don’t miss this great opportunity to earn work experience hours this summer while helping students from around the world! Shining Stars Tutor Clubs: Be a tutor, mentor, and friend! Join the Shining Stars Tutor Clubs and participate in activities such as sports, baking, and bowling!

Pedalheads Bike Camps: Make some money working at a bike camp between June and August! You don’t need to be an expert biker, just someone who likes being active and working with kids!

Beachkeeper: Get hands on volunteer experience on weekends and holidays being a Beachkeeper at Belcarra Regional Park.  Training begins June 14th.

Big Bike Event Day Volunteers: As a volunteer you will help to create the enthusiastic, fun spirit of the Heart and Stroke Big Bike! Shifts are available for morning, afternoon, and early evening during May. Get your application in soon!

New ACE it Programs - ROBOtics & Health services

Come to the CP office for more info on these exciting new ACE IT programs starting in 2015-16.

Robotics ACE-IT: If you are interested in programming, drones, robots, and electronics, the new Robotics ACE-IT program is for you. This program will take up your blocks 3 & 4 for the entire school year and you need to be in Grade 10 or 11 this year to apply.
