Re-Store (Habitat for Humanity) is looking for two PAID employees this summer - one at their Douglas Rd location and the other at the Enterprise St location (near Lakecity skytrain. You'll help out around the store moving building supplies and equipment.

Burnaby Tennis Tournament wants you to volunteer. June 17-25. Flexible shifts, free lunch. Responsibilities include checking in and guiding players to the court, some kitchen help, and other general tasks. Students have had lots of fun doing this with their friends in past years. Little Billy's Steakhouse at Sperling & Hastings is looking for a part-time Busser (you set and clear tables etc). You'd be on call during the week and would also work Friday evenings. Pay is minimum wage plus tips. Drop by the restaurant with a resume to apply.

Place Des Arts Summer Camps - great for artsy types who enjoy working with children.
The camps run between July 4 – August 18. There is a minimum commitment of two weeks (Monday-Friday), with full-day, morning or afternoon shifts available. Volunteers will also need to attend mandatory orientation training sessions, the orientation dates for each camp are outlined in the posters and the application form.
The application deadline is Wednesday, May 31, 2017. I recommend applying before the deadline, if possible, as our camps are very popular and certain shifts fill up quickly
Get your work experience with the City of Burnaby summer camps. To sign up you must attend bring a signed consent form to one of the four orientation sessions - see attachment.
